Born on the Halovian home planet, Sunday's childhood alongside his sister, Robin, was peaceful until a destructive Stellaron descended, bringing disaster and causing the death of their own mother. Orphaned, Sunday and Robin came into the care of Mr. Gopher Wood on The Planet of Festivities. Here they learned more about the Dreamworld, Penacony, and became integrated into The Family as loyal servants of Xipe, the Aeon of Harmony. As they grew older, Sunday's philosophy diverged from his sister's and led him down a different path—one that favored the stricter ideals of Ena the Order instead. This was encouraged by their guardian, Gopher Wood and Dreammaster of Penacony, who also helped Sunday become the Oak Family Head and Bronze Melodia (basically the "Confessor", a high-ranking position that would hear out the problems of those dreaming in Penacony).

Over time, Sunday became obsessed with his desire to turn Penacony into a paradise where no suffering existed. He grew disillusioned through the anguish and difficulty of those deemed "less than" compared to those who had more arbitrary value to society. This delusion was only further exacerbated when his own beloved sister was gravely injured while on the war front, nearly resulting in her death. He developed an extreme need to control the dream world, and as the Head of the Oak Family, everything within Penacony laid under his dominion. Of course, he was also being manipulated by Gopher Wood who was the true force behind the Aeon of Order's return, but Sunday helped orchestrate this plan. He wanted to eliminate suffering so that everyone in Penacony could slumber peacefully in their dreams, even if it meant a complete disconnection from reality.

It did not go as planned. Sunday was brought down by the crew of the Astral Express shortly after. He was jailed by The Family, awaiting judgment until he was later freed by the IPC. Now a fugitive, Sunday cast a disguise over himself and escaped Penacony after a difficult goodbye with his past and his sister, then joined the Astral Express to begin his journey. His hope is to see the world through changed eyes, to erase any lingering influence of the Order across the universe, and to follow a new destiny.
